Teams working with AI at any real scale hit the same wall: prompt quality is inconsistent, there's no structured way to test variations, and there's no objective measure of whether a prompt is actually performing well. Most teams solve this with shared docs and institutional knowledge. It works until someone leaves, the team grows, or the model changes. There was no purpose-built tool for the people writing prompts in production, only general-purpose playgrounds that treat prompting as a demo activity rather than a craft.

We scoped for the person who writes prompts daily as part of their actual job, not the person learning what a prompt is. The product needed a structured editor that enforces good prompt hygiene, a scoring engine that evaluates output quality against defined criteria, and a history layer so improvement is trackable over time. We designed for simplicity over features: one clear workflow, no unnecessary surface area, opinionated enough to be useful rather than infinitely flexible and therefore useless.
