A UK dental group's booking process now runs itself.

Their practice software had no integrations and no path to get them. We built an agent that operates it directly, campaigns run end-to-end without anyone on staff touching them.

The problem

A UK dental group managed all patient bookings through legacy practice management software, a system their whole operation depended on, with no API and no path to integration. Booking campaigns that should have been systematic were handled manually by staff: slow, inconsistent, and entirely dependent on someone being available to sit at the screen. Every booking meant staff time. Every missed booking meant lost revenue. And there was no way to scale the process without scaling headcount.

Solution designed

The constraint was clear: the software wasn't going to change, and replacing it wasn't on the table. The only viable path was to work with what existed. We designed a computer-use agent, a system that interacts with the software the way a trained staff member would, through the interface itself. The design had to handle the unpredictability of a real UI: varying screen states, edge cases, errors. Rather than scripting a rigid flow, we built an agent that reads the current state and decides what to do next, making it robust to the kinds of variations a real booking session encounters.

Solution built

Pulse, a production computer-use agent that runs booking campaigns end-to-end. It opens the practice software, works through a patient list, navigates the booking flow for each entry, handles exceptions as they arise, and logs every outcome. Alongside the agent, we built a client-facing dashboard giving the practice full visibility: live run status, completion records, cost per booking, and session recordings for every run. The system runs in production mode across multiple provider instances, no sandbox, no test data, live bookings into the real system.

Result

Pulse now runs booking campaigns continuously in production. Each booking costs approximately $1.20 in API spend and completes in under 12 minutes of agent time, with zero staff involvement from trigger to completion. The process that previously required a staff member at a screen now runs itself, at a cost that makes the manual alternative look unreasonable by comparison. The practice runs campaigns across multiple providers simultaneously, with full audit trails and session recordings for every booking made.
